ITALY, which literally means land of cattle in Greek features just that – herds and herds of cattle bred for commercial and milking purposes, there are lots of cattle breed in Italy – Piedmontese, Marchigiana, Chiannina, Romagnola, Maremmana and Podolica. In particular, Piedmontese has the yummiest meat because they have double muscles throughout their bodies. As a result, their meat has 400 percent less backfat than the other cattle. The total fat in Piedmontese steaks is only 0.59 grams, far lesser than the recommended dietary allowance of 24 grams of beef. This means it has less fat than bison, pork or skinless chicken. These cattle breed are spread throughout the Italian peninsula. Italy is landlocked to the north by the Alps claimed by France, Switzerland, Austria and Slovenia.

Anybody who is not from the European Union needs a visa to get to this country. International airports can be found in Rome, Milan, Bologna, Naples, Pisa, Venice and Turin. International ferries also ply daily from Greece, Albania, Montenegro, Croatia, Corsica, Genoa, Sardinia and Sicily. There are also international trains coming from Nice, Lyon, Paris, Zagreb, Vienna, Geneva, Munich, Prague, Budapest, Ljubljana and Barcelona. Of course, you can also come by car via these land borders if you have the proper papers.

Whether you’ll be staying in Rome or in Milan, amenities in five star hotels are similar – a fitness center, Turkish bath, in-room fax machine and handicapped friendly facilities. A Turkish bath is particularly invigorating in the sense that the subject person first relaxes in a warm room so he’ll perspire. Then you will move to a warmer room to perspire more. Then you will splash yourself with cold water. Then after thoroughly soaping and rinsing yourself, you will receive massage from the professional masseuses of the five star hotels. Of course, the most exciting dishes of an Italian restaurant are the usual pasta and tiramisu stuff. Other than that, there’s veal, stewed marrow bone dipped in lemon sauce and rice dish with scallions and mushrooms To quench your thirst, there are white wines, red wines, blush wines, after dinner wines, grappas, cognacs, brandies and scotches. A vineyard tour in Florence can be refreshing. There will be wine tasting with snack.

Or you can go to Milan in selected times of the year – winter, summer, spring and autumn – for its fashion week. A typical fashion school in Milan offers three kinds of fashion courses – basic, for summer only and advanced. Fields of study include fashion design, fashion styling, the business of fashion, interior design, product design, graphic design and pattern making. You will be taught the basics in the history of fashion, menswear, womenswear, eyewear, swimwear, fashion trends, fabrics and materials, collection design, history of costume, sociology of fashion, analysis of image strategies, brand identity design, contemporary cultural movements, how to make a portfolio, photography theory and techniques, digital design fundamentals, contemporary fashion analysis, fashion collection structure, public relations, fashion buying techniques, visual display basics, the Made in Italy philosophy and geometrical drawings.
